Explorers Track Returns for 2017 Broadband Conference

Communities that are in various stages of exploring community broadband projects will once again benefit from a track of sessions at this year's IAMU Broadband Conference.

Dubbed the "Explorer's Track", the sessions are designed to assist communities across a wide spectrum of municipal broadband exploration, from pre-election to implementation.  Sessions this year include:

• "Developing A Winning Marketing Plan", presented by Doug Pals of RE:Sourceful Communications, will provide attendees with a roadmap to creating a comprehensive marketing plan.
• "Staffing For Success", again led by Doug Pals with assistance from Curtis Dean and Todd Kielkopf of Kielkopf Advisory Services, will discuss how to build the human resources required for excellence.
• "Financing Strategies", led by Todd Kielkopf, will explore different ways that community broadband projects have been funded over the years.
• "Partnering For Success", led by Todd Kielkopf, will discuss how partnering with other communities and companies can benefit community broadband projects.
  

IAMU member registration for the 2017 Broadband Conference is $130 for a community's first attendee and $100 for each additional attendee.  Non-IAMU member rates are $180/$150.
